COVID-19 Precautions

The health and safety of our patients and staff are paramount during this pandemic.  Please do not come in for an appointment or shot if you are experiencing any flu or cold like symptoms, including but not limited to, fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, diarrhea. 

We at North Bay Allergy & Asthma are taking all necessary measures in our offices and with our staff to protect against COVID-19 and other pathogens including:

1) We have implemented temperature checks for everyone walking in the door to our office, that includes staff.  We are also asking about recent travel.

2) We have spaced our waiting room chairs at least 6 feet apart to social distance

3) We sanitize our waiting room chairs and counters several times a day

4) We sanitize our exam rooms in between every patient

5) We have implemented hands free check in so nobody has to touch anything during the check in process for shots or appointments

6) We do not hand out timers for allergy shots any longer 

7) We are not performing peak flow tests before allergy shots any longer

8) Patients may wait outside in the hallway as long as they are in view of the staff

In addition, for at least the month of April, we are not performing any procedures of any kind other than allergy shots.  This includes, breathing tests, skin testing, food challenges, medication testing, patch testing.  Fear not, we will eventually do them for anyone that needs them but will be postponing until the current environment is safer to perform these tests.
